HOLA HOLA!!!!
Whew! This week we saw so many miracles!!! We found a bunch of families. I love that :) If you think it's cute when little kids talk in their cute English baby voices, just think how much cuter it is in Spanish!
So, my companion and I were contacting in new areas this week that we had never gone, and found a woman cleaning. She wouldn't let us help her, but she accepted the pamphlet of the plan of salvation that we gave her, and let us come back another day. When we returned, we found her and her husband, and she told us that she read the whole pamphlet and was very interested in it because it cleared up SO many of her questions. The plan of salvation talks about the three questions we all ask: Where did I come from, why am I here, and where do I go after this life? We ended up talking about the pamphlet, and even her husband was receptive. I am so excited to return this week and teach them more, and answer more of their questions!
Another experience we had contacting: We were going door to door (here you have to shout at the house because no one has doorbells and most of the houses have gates around them, so you can't knock on the door) So, when we shouted at a house, a young teenage girl came out to talk to us. We got to know her, and we started to explain the reason why we were there, to share a message about the restoration. When we mentioned that there was a real prophet on the earth today, she got really interested, asked his name, and looked him up right there and then. We began to explain that Thomas S. Monson was a prophet that guides the people in the whole world. She got really excited and i could tell that in just those few minutes we answered a lot of questions. This gospel truly answers questions, and truly helps people to see the light!
Just so you know, it rained a few times this week! But, it is not enough to get water back. It basically has to rain for a week straight. But, every little bit helps! (at least if it rains, we don't have to go for 3 days without water and one day with it!) I hope you all have a wonderful week! Keep sharing your experiences with me!
Love,
