HOLA HOLA!!!
Bueno....what happened this week...TRANSFERS! I am now with my new companion! She's Mexican, and her name is Hermana Madrigal. She's awesome, and she wants to learn English, so this week I have to talk in all English (except with the Puerto Rican people....But, it's a lot harder than it sounds! I keep getting Spanish and English mixed up, and now I don't know English words and I have to talk REALLY slow....well, life's a struggle...but the church is still true :D )
I guess the best part of the week was when we taught a preacher! We had a lesson with his mom, and then he came in and we shared with everyone, so we started to talk a little about our purpose. He listened, and he wanted to "discuss" more, so we went back the next day. It was very interesting to hear his opinion on the things that we shared (because when we came back, he had written a full page of notes with references from the bible that he had made after reading the pamphlet) but, the spirit was in the lesson. Something I noticed was that when he shared, he had a lot of knowledge, and good reasoning. I didn't have all the answers (I mean, I'm only 20 years old, and he was an older man) However, I was able to testify with all the energy of my soul that I knew the principles were true that we taught. I am so grateful, not only for the little knowledge that I have, but for my testimony that the spirit has helped me to gain. I know because I have prayed, I know because the spirit has testified these things to me. How important it is that we ask God. He knows. And by the power of the Holy Ghost all men can know the truth.
....I am trying to think of something funny that happened....but the only thing is pretty ordinary...it rained, we got wet :) haha Puerto Rico is great because it likes to just rain when I don't have an umbrella :( But, it's okay, it's part of the adventure as a missionary!
Love you all! Stay Dry!
