Hola Todos!
So, FELIZ DIA DE AMISTAD! HAPPY VALENTINES DAY! We celebrated by going out with a new married couple. They were both missionaries in the states, and they loved going out with us, so they spent their valentines visiting with us! That's true love right there :)
We had a super awesome experience this week. So, my companion had a contact on an exchange, and her name is Olga. Well, when she went to call this Olga, she ended up calling a different a Olga. Her address was different, and we were really confused, but we went. We ended up realizing that this was someone who the missionaries had taught some time ago. As a mission we have been trying to fulfill our purpose by asking the people right away if they would be baptized. She had never really thought of it much, but she liked learning. We are going to teach her, and now she knows why we are there, and we are going to help her come unto Christ!
With that, we had a SUPER busy week! We spent a WHOLE entire day moving apartments. And our apartment is SUPER nice now. We have hot water again! And, this time we have a washer and dryer. I have never had a dryer here in Puerto Rico. Basically everyone just hangs their clothes outside to dry. Then, we also had zone conference, so that took out a whole day because we had to pick up and drop off sisters. Zone conference is when we get together as an area and talk about how we can better this part of the island.
So, super busy, awesome week. Something that my president, President Boucher said really touched me this week: He said, Baptisms, conversions and everything are great. But what really matters is that we do the will of the Lord. The Lord has sent me and every other missionary to their area to do a work. To be an instrument in the Lords hands. So, what matters, is that we do what the Lord wants from us. That goes to everybody out there. I have learned that we can't compare ourselves to others, because we all have a special purpose. A purpose that no one else can accomplish! So, find your purpose!
Les Amo muchisimo! (I love you all a lot!)
