Well, it rained, and it poured and it rained for about 3 days straight here....and it didn't stop. I have to say, it was CRAZY! Its a good thing I have cool gummy waterproof shoes! Also, the day that the rain was beginning to start we moved apartments. We thought it would only take half a day...nope, we ended up spending from 6:30 in the morning until 6:00 at night moving! The beds were the hardest things...rule to the wise, don't take beds apart, and make sure your bed will fit through the door BEFORE you buy it. But, my companion and I survived! And, our new house is awesome! We have air conditioning, and we have hot water! I have seriously missed my hot water showers, haha.
We also saw mucho blessings with the rain, There was a rainbow after the storm (in a figurative sense) and we were able to contact the magical family that we had a few weeks ago. We hadn't been able to contact them because the mom was always working :( But, we have a return appointment with them this next week!
I have a firm testimony of faith. I was reading chapter 13 of Jesus the Christ (a book written by one of our latter-day prophets about the life of Christ) this week and I found that while Christ performed many miracles, many also still didn't believe. They still had to rely on their faith. In the Book of Mormon in Ether 12:6 it says, "Dispute not because ye see not,for ye receive no witness until after the trial of your faith."
This is so important. Our faith in our Savior Jesus Christ is what keeps us moving. I encourage you all to think about your testimony of our Savior. What has he done for you? How can you improve you faith?
